New comment engine

I wasn't really satisfied with the Google FriendConnect comment engine: the windows are too small and the posts difficult to read. Therefore I decided to switch to IntenseDebate. Unfortunately, the comments made so far via FriendConnect are lost. Still, there weren't so many of them, and I copied the most elaborate ones into the new engine, giving credit to the original author (see for instance this blog post). Of course you can resubmit them if you feel like it. You can still access the blog pages with the old FriendConnect engine by replacing "blog.php" by "blogGoogle.php" in the url of any post.

I do think that the new interface is much more friendly. It also allows to get comment notifications by email or RSS, and offers a whole bunch of features that I haven't enabled yet.

Sorry for the inconvenience, happy holidays and all the best for 2010!
