Fractal Mondrian animation
Here is a video based on the fractal Mondrian pattern. The latter, like most of my works, is constructed by piling resized copies of a simple pattern that you can see in the blog post already linked above. During most of this animation, theses copies are rotated or shifted with respect to each other. At times, this gives an interesting illusion of a three dimensional forest of Mondrian patterns. The animation is purely 2d, though.
On the downside, the vimeo codec does not seem to like bright colors; the image quality is really low.
