This work pictures a dense Julia set constructed from iterations of the following Lattès map: z -> -(z + 2 + 1/z)/4.

The dense fractal pattern ("algorithmic world") pictured here actually lives on the sphere. It can be explored here panoramically with a Java applet. More information can be found in this blog post.
