This work pictures a dense Julia set constructed from iterations of the following Lattès map: w = -z(z-a)²/(az-1)², z -> ((a-2i)*w - a² - 4)/(w - a + 2i), with a = i sqrt(3).

The dense fractal pattern ("algorithmic world") pictured here actually lives on the sphere. It can be explored here panoramically with a Java applet. More information can be found in this blog post.
