This work pictures a dense Julia set constructed from iterations of the following Lattès map: z -> (z³+a)/(az³+1) with a = exp(2πi/3).

The dense fractal pattern ("algorithmic world") pictured here actually lives on the sphere. It can be explored here panoramically with a Java applet. More information can be found in this blog post.
